a) 1 dm3 of the solution weighs 1000 x 0.68 = 680 g So mass of ammonia = 680 x 34% = 231.2 g b) No. of moles of ammonia = 231.2/17 = 13.6 So its molarity = 13.6 M c) To make it up to 1 M, resulting volume should be 13.6 dm3. Hence volume of water needed to be added = 12.6 dm3.
