我係網上成日睇到,本地磁碟C:越少野,電腦既速度就會越快, 我好唔好將D野搬晒去D:?

It is pretty sure if your hardware has fewer files, your machine can work faster in general. You should understand there are different reasons why the machine is lowered in speed, like the consumption of RAMS from anti-virus or some other softwares pop up on boottom right hand corner or the operation systems, the launch of too many programs at the same time, etc. But you should ask yourself: When you first buy the machine, is it faster than right now? If so, why? The reason must be due to the space available in the hard-disk. The free space can enable the file sectors to move easier so the time required to load the files is shorter. Fewer size means file retrival or defragmentation become difficult and the operation speed cannot be utilized. I suggest you to copy all files ( except Windows and Program Files ) to the external hard-disk, and then retain some most useful andf important in C:. The copy left in D: serves as a duplicate and if the C: has any sector problem that all files are erased, you can still copy them back to C:. And I also suggest you to burn some DVDs as a third source as well for safety. Hope I can help you.
